Is there an age limit?

You must be 11 years old to participate. All participants are required to sign a waiver. For participants under the age of 18, their waiver must be complete with a parent or guardian’s signature. One supervising adult (18 or older) for every 4 participants under the age of 16 must be present.

Can you bring your own food and drink?

Outside food and drink is not allowed. However, Andy’s offers a variety of menu options including pizza, wings, burgers and a beer and wine selection.

Will someone teach me how to throw an axe?

Absolutely! You will be with an Axepert at all times. The first portion of your experience is spent learning the safety rules, procedures of how to handle an axe, and getting comfortable throwing the axe. Afterwards, your Axepert facilitate a series of games and competitions.

How much does it cost?

The cost is $24.99 per person for a 75 minute experience with a dedicated Axepert. We offer discounted pricing on Sundays - just $19.99 per person for a 75 minute experience!

Is Axe throwing safe?

Yes. Throwing axes is similar to other target sports. Provided that participants follow the instructions and safety rules explained by our staff and use common sense, throwing an axe is safe. Our experienced and highly trained staff are in the throwing arena with you at all times and monitor your throws for safety and guide you through the entire process.

What should I wear?

Loose, casual clothing is fine. No high heels please and hoodies are not recommended. Closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended.

What if our party is running late?

LumberAxe at Andy’s is scheduled on a time basis (like movies). Please arrive at least 30 minutes early so that you may be checked in, sign your waiver, and enjoy our wide variety of food and beverage. If you do arrive late, you will miss out on some of the fun.

Do you allow spectators?

Spectators have to view from outside the axe throwing arena. Paid participants and their guests (age 11 or older) can spectate when not throwing from several viewing areas inside the LumberAxe arena including a lounge space with tables and chairs. Anyone in the Axe Throwing arena has to have a signed waiver.

Can we take pictures and videos?

Absolutely! We encourage it! This will be an experience you won’t want to forget. Also, we’d love for you to tag us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

What are your hours?

We host axe throwing experiences every hour and a half, both on week nights and on the weekends. Please visit the reservation site to view current available times.

Do you have group packages?

Yes, we have group packages. We offer groups a discounted rate of $19.99 per person for a 75 minute experience. Please contact our group sales department for more information.

Do you have private meeting rooms available?

Yes! Axe throwing is a great team building activity. Contact our group sales department for more information.

Do I need to book in advance or can I come as a walk in?

At this time, we do not accept walk in groups. Our reservation system lists all available times. We recommend booking a week in advance in order to get your ideal time slot. Online booking requires 24 hour advance notice. For less than 24 hour notice call for availability. Click here to book online.

Will I be grouped with people I don’t know?

Yes, depending on your group size, you may be teamed up with others to create two teams of 5, a total of 10 participants. Don't be surprised to make a new friend or two in the process! The only way to ensure your group has the lanes to yourself is to book all available spots.
